“Please can you feed back to the Cloud One team that we are receiving extremely positive feedback about the production in person last night and the quality of the virtual event. It’s the first time we’ve run the awards as a hybrid event, and it seems to really hit the mark! I’m really pleased and was impressed by the production team, I’m so glad we invested in their services.”

Frequently Asked Questions

What platforms do you stream to?

We stream to any RTMP-compatible platform — YouTube Live, Vimeo, Microsoft Teams, Zoom Webinar, LinkedIn Live, Restream, Twitch, custom CDNs and white-label players. We'll recommend the right platform based on your audience size, registration requirements and Q&A needs.

How do you handle Q&A from remote attendees?

Several options depending on the platform: Slido and Mentimeter for moderated text Q&A displayed on-stage; Zoom or Teams "raise hand" for live video questions; chat moderation with a dedicated producer. We brief presenters on managing both audiences and feed questions to the chair.

How many cameras do you use for a typical hybrid event?

Most conferences use 3–4 cameras: a wide shot on the stage, two presenter close-ups and a roving operator for audience reactions. Larger events add jib or slider for cinematic motion. All feeds are mixed live by a dedicated vision engineer.

What happens if the internet at the venue fails?

We bring redundant internet — venue WiFi, hardwired ethernet, plus a 4G/5G bonded cellular backup that automatically takes over within seconds if the primary connection drops. For high-stakes streams we pre-test at the venue and supply on-site network engineering.

Can you record the event for on-demand viewing?

Yes — we record the program feed plus isolated camera feeds (ISO recording) so you can re-edit afterwards. Final deliverables are typically MP4 files uploaded to your platform of choice within 1–2 working days, or sooner if you need same-day turnaround.

Do hybrid events cost more than in-person only?

Yes — streaming adds cameras, vision mix, encoding hardware, platform fees and an extra crew member or two. Typical uplift is 20–40% on top of an equivalent in-person production. The trade-off is dramatically larger reach: most clients see 3–5x the audience versus in-person alone.
