The Yamaha P-200 is an 88-key stage piano with a velocity-sensitive Graded Hammer Effect keyboard and AWM tone generation with 64-note maximum polyphony. It carries 12 voices - four pianos, three electric pianos, vibes, two organs, strings and bass - which can be layered in dual mode or split across the keyboard. Effects are reverb (room, stage or hall) and modulation (chorus, symphonic or tremolo), with a three-band panel equaliser. Amplification is 30 W x 2 into two 13 cm speakers, and the piano has 1/4" line outputs, line in, MIDI in/out/thru and weighs 30 kg.

The Technics SL-1210MK2 is a quartz direct-drive turntable with a brushless DC motor and an aluminium die-cast platter 33.2 cm across weighing 2 kg. It runs at 33 1/3 and 45 rpm, produces 1.5 kg-cm of starting torque and reaches 33 1/3 rpm in 0.7 seconds from standstill. Pitch is adjusted by about plus or minus 8% under quartz-locked control, which is what makes the deck workable for beat matching.
