The Pioneer DJ DJM-900NXS2 is a four-channel DJ mixer with a 96 kHz/64-bit digital signal processor and 96 kHz/24-bit USB audio. Every channel has its own phono input, so four turntables can be connected at once, and two USB ports allow two computers to stay connected. Six Sound Color FX - Sweep, Filter, Crush, Dub Echo, Noise and Space - are available on each channel, alongside 14 Beat FX and an independent send and return for an outboard effects unit.

The Pioneer DJ CDJ-3000 is a professional DJ multi player with a 9-inch full-colour HD LCD touch screen and eight Hot Cue buttons laid out in a row beneath the waveform display. The Pioneer DJ DJM-A9 is a four-channel DJ mixer with 32-bit ESS A/D and D/A conversion on the master and booth outputs. It has two microphone inputs, with phantom power on MIC 1, dedicated mic effects for echo, pitch and megaphone plus a separate reverb, and 14 Beat FX including Mobius, Triplet Filter and Triplet Roll. The Technics SL-1210MK2 is a quartz direct-drive turntable with a brushless DC motor and an aluminium die-cast platter 33.2 cm across weighing 2 kg. It runs at 33 1/3 and 45 rpm, produces 1.5 kg-cm of starting torque and reaches 33 1/3 rpm in 0.7 seconds from standstill. Pitch is adjusted by about plus or minus 8% under quartz-locked control, which is what makes the deck workable for beat matching.
