The Mesa/Boogie Studio Caliber DC-2 is a 20 W valve guitar combo with two independent channels, Rhythm and Lead, each with its own gain, treble, mid, bass, presence, reverb and master controls. The power section uses two EL84 valves and the preamp six 12AX7s, and channels are changed by a front-panel toggle or the footswitch. The rear panel has a parallel effects loop with a mix control, a recording output, a silent recording switch that mutes the speaker, a slave output with level control, and three speaker jacks, one at 8 Ohm and two at 4 Ohm.
