The Marshall DSL100H is a 100 W valve guitar amplifier head with a power reduction option that drops it to 50 W. The preamp uses three ECC83 valves plus a fourth ECC83 as phase splitter, and the power stage runs four EL34s. It has two channels, Classic Gain with clean and crunch settings and Ultra Gain with OD1 and OD2 settings, each with its own gain, volume and digital reverb level. The rear panel carries a switchable series effects loop and five 1/4" speaker jacks for 16 Ohm, 8 Ohm or 4 Ohm loads, and the head weighs 24.2 kg.

The Technics SL-1210MK2 is a quartz direct-drive turntable with a brushless DC motor and an aluminium die-cast platter 33.2 cm across weighing 2 kg. It runs at 33 1/3 and 45 rpm, produces 1.5 kg-cm of starting torque and reaches 33 1/3 rpm in 0.7 seconds from standstill. Pitch is adjusted by about plus or minus 8% under quartz-locked control, which is what makes the deck workable for beat matching.
