Project Overview
2023 marked 60 years since the last National Serviceman was demobbed and the end of the National Service era. Commissioned by the Royal British Legion in collaboration with the National Memorial Arboretum, the commemorative service took visitors on a journey through enlistment, medical, training, deployment and demobilisation.
Cloud One delivered a full audio-visual production package with recording capability and audio distribution for musical performances in the hospitality areas, ensuring the service was heard clearly across the site and captured for archive.
Production Highlights
- L-Acoustics Kara II line array with SB18 subs delivering even audience coverage
- Dante networking with Yamaha Gain Compensation between FOH and recording desks
- AKG, Neumann, Sennheiser and Shure microphones capturing British Army Band Catterick and Aurum Vocale Choir
- Static and roving Sony and Panasonic cameras with jib cam, mixed in onsite OB truck via VMix
- Two 3.5m x 2m 3.9mm modular LED screens for audience visuals
- Audio distribution for musical performances across hospitality areas
