Project Overview
Cloud One supplied full production for Birmingham Hippodrome's B-Side Festival, a breakdancing and urban arts event held across multiple Birmingham city centre sites including Arcadian Car Park, Birmingham Hippodrome and Bullring / Grand Central.
The main site sat on the top tier of the Arcadian Complex car park. After a site visit, sound projection was flagged as a concern given the surrounding flats and hotel, so an L-Acoustics Soundvision-modelled line array solution was designed to contain coverage on the audience area.
Production Highlights
- L-Acoustics dV-DOSC line array with ARC II and SB18 subs modelled with Soundvision
- Flown projection and lighting with ground-stacked line array to minimise roof loading
- Yamaha CL5 with Rio Dante stage boxes and D&B M4 monitors
- Panasonic PT-DZ110X projection onto 16ft Fastfold screens
- Camera team feeding a separate LED wall in Arcadian Square
- 125A power distribution and Avolites Tiger Touch Pro lighting control
