The Shure SM98 is a miniature cardioid electret condenser microphone for instrument pickup, including drums and percussion, brass, reed, wind, string and keyboard instruments, and amplified guitars. It is supplied with a detachable 4.6 m cable with Switchcraft Tini Q.G. connectors, a preamplifier, a windscreen and a swivel adapter for stand or gooseneck mounting. The preamplifier runs on two 9 V alkaline batteries (about 300 hours) or 11 - 52 V dc simplex (phantom) power and has a switchable 12 dB-per-octave low-frequency cut-off below 80 Hz. The microphone itself weighs 12 g.

L-Acoustics KS28
The L-Acoustics KS28 is a subwoofer with two 18" neodymium cone drivers in a bass-reflex enclosure fitted with L-Vents laminar vents to reduce port turbulence. Its low frequency limit is 25 Hz at -10 dB, and it can be set for standard or cardioid directivity by combining the physical deployment with the matching preset. The cabinet is Baltic beech and birch plywood, rated IP55, measures 1340 x 550 x 719 mm and weighs 79 kg.
