The Mirror Ball is a sphere faced with small square mirror tiles, hung above a dance floor or stage and turned slowly by a motorised rotator. It has no light source of its own: a narrow beam from a pinspot or profile is aimed at it, and the tiles scatter that beam into a moving field of light spots across the room. Cloud One hold three sizes: 6", 12" and a Showtec 50 cm ball faced in glass mirrors of 10 x 10 mm, its eye carried on a safety bar inside the shell. Rotator motors are held with them, among them an FXLAB G007NY rated for a ball of up to 10 kg.
