Cloud One supplied full production for Birmingham Hippodrome B-Side Festival. The breakdancing event was held across multiple sites including Arcadian Car Park, Birmingham Hippodrome and Bullring/ Grand Central Birmingham.
The Main Site was situated on the top tier of the Arcadian Complex Car Park. After conducting a site visit, sound projection came up as a concern due to its situation amongst residential flats and a hotel. Using L-Acoustics Soundvision, an appropriate Line Array solution was designed and put forward.
To minimise load on the Car Park roof structure, we decided to fly projection and lighting, and ground stack Line Array. A camera team covered the event sending a separate feed to an LED wall in Arcadian Square too.
