ve80 event production

Equipment specification

For the main stage, Cloud One delivered two 5.5m x 3m Unilumin 3.9mm LED walls, forming a dynamic visual centerpiece for live feeds, video content, and real-time ceremony visuals.
These displays were supported by a fully integrated video and audio system, designed and operated by our team to ensure crystal-clear sound, smooth transitions, and immersive atmosphere throughout the event.
Across the extensive grounds, NDI relay systems provided a flexible, low-latency broadcast network, ensuring consistent coverage and communication across the site.
ISO and show feeds were distributed to media partners – including the BBC – supporting national coverage of the day’s events.
Accessibility was a core component of the technical design. Cloud One facilitated:
– BSL interpretation
– RF assistive listening systems
– Live captioning
These ensured that every attendee, including those with neurodiverse
conditions, could fully experience and participate in the commemorations.

Execution
From pre-event planning to on-site operation, Cloud One collaborated closely with the Royal British Legion and the Arboretum’s production team to integrate all technical systems into the show’s creative flow.
The result was a production that felt polished, inclusive, and profoundly respectful – balancing national attention with local custodianship, artistry with logistics, and precision with empathy.

The Event
The programme, hosted by Baroness Floella Benjamin OM DBE, featured performances by Russell Watson, Carly Paoli, Anthonia Edwards, and the British Army Band Tidworth – concluding with a spectacular Battle of Britain Memorial Flight flypast. Over forty Second World War veterans were in attendance, alongside thousands of visitors across the Arboretum’s 150-acre grounds.
Cloud One delivered a seamless experience across primary, overflow, and VIP viewing locations, integrating LED screens, PA towers, relay systems, and accessible facilities with precision and care.
