The Parkinson’s Excellence Network Awards required a production solution tailored to the venue’s distinctive character and the technical demands of a hybrid audience.
Key challenges included:
• Designing a professional stage set suitable for awards presentation while complementing the Botanical Gardens’ interior environment
• Providing multi-screen playback and presentation support on a tight setup window
• Delivering independent vision mixing and audio integration for the online and broadcast elements
• Lighting that enhanced both the room aesthetic and camera capture
Despite a constrained build time and the technical complexity of a multi-camera stream, Cloud One were tasked with delivering a seamless, broadcast-standard event experience.
Event Delivery
On the evening of the awards, Cloud One’s production team coordinated the full technical delivery from build to broadcast.
This included installation of staging and scenic elements, setup of multi-screen systems, camera positions and streaming control, and detailed technical checks across audio and lighting. During the show, our crew provided live operation of cameras, graphics, playback, sound and lighting, while the show caller aligned all technical cues with the running order.
In addition to the live event, Cloud One delivered a short highlights video at the client’s request, capturing key moments from the awards to support future promotional and internal communications.
This ensured a smooth, professional event with consistent technical quality for both in-room guested and online viewers.

The Parkinson’s Excellence Network Awards celebrate the achievements of professional, teams and organisations improving care for people living with Parkinson’s across the UK. For the ceremony, Parkinson’s UK hosted an evening at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens, bringing together nominees, healthcare specialists, partners and supporters for a night of recognition and showcase.
