THE CHALLENGE
Delivering Ibiza Proms in the Park required a flexible, robust and musically precise technical solution, with several unique challenges:
• Late sound check constraints
As the orchestra arrived after work on Friday, the Sound check could only begin after public doors were already open, requiring careful management of stage activity, audience experience and overall noise levels.
• Orchestral monitoring integration
The orchestra brought their own monitoring system. To support this, Cloud One supplied a passive analogue split, ensuring clean signal routing to both their monitoring setup and our front-of-house mixes.
• Stems recording requirements
The orchestra requested a multitrack stems recording. Cloud One delivered this using a Dante based recording system, providing a clean, reliable digital capture for post-event use.
• Dual-event technical efficiency
The stage, PA towers, delay towers and lighting needed to support both Ibiza Proms and Lichfield Proms the following night. This required a technical design that delivered high impact for an EDM-orchestral hybrid show while also being suitable for the more traditional symphonic proms.
• Large outdoor audience experience
Ensuring excellent visually and audio coverage across a large park environment meant deploying a combination of main PA towers, delay towers, LED trailer screens and multi-camera production.
Despite the tight turnaround, evolving artist requirements and outdoor environment, Cloud One were responsible for ensuring a polished, professional and immersive experience for thousands of attendees.
Event Delivery
Cloud One’s onsite team delivered the complete installation, sound check, line check, camera setup, lighting programming and live operation across the event. With sound checks taking place after public entry, technicians worked with precision and efficiency to ensure the orchestra were comfortable while maintaining a positive audience experience.
Throughout the show, audio engineers mixed the orchestra, DJ and band elements with clarity and musical detail, while video operators provided a dynamic camera-led feed to the LED screens. Lighting operators adapted looks throughout the night to complement the evolving musical styles.
The production seamlessly transitioned into preparations for the traditional Lichfield Proms event, maximising efficiency while maintaining high standards of presentation and reliability.
Result
Ibiza Proms in the Park delivered a spectacular fusion of orchestral performance and classic Ibiza energy, with audiences enjoying a high-impact, festival-style experience. The combination of high-fidelity audio, immersive lighting and professional multi-camera screen content elevated the evening for beyond a standard outdoor concert.
The technical solution also delivered exceptional value, successfully supporting both Ibiza Proms and Lichfield Proms across the weekend without compromise to either event’s artistic identity.

EVENT BRIEF
Ibiza Proms in the Park brought together orchestral musicians, live vocalists, DJs and a high-energy audience for an unforgettable evening of dance-classics-meets-symphony under the stars. Hosted in Lichfield, the event featured a warm-up band, DJ sets and a full orchestral performance playing iconic Ibiza anthems.
Cloud One were engaged to provide full technical production including audio, lighting, multi-camera vision mixing, and LED trailer screens for large-scale audience viewing. The same stage and technical infrastructure were also used for the traditional Lichfield Proms in the Park the following evening – an annual event delivered by Cloud One – requiring a versatile and reliable setup capable of supporting two very difference musical programmes on consecutive nights.
